Home and Away

While I was watching
my favourite television
pogrom, matter and
style popped
out. Consumer

goods and mass entertainment
suddenly seemed glamorous

and desirable.

Update: the poet requested what had been the first and last poems to be taken down. So they were. Our commentary, however, shall remain the same.

The first poem has this great rhythm and a title to love forever. These seem to ride the wave of strange line breaks and unexpected content (ex: I felt like putting a / bullseye on every panda in my / housing commission block). Which makes for fun reading.

The secret is to read these while intoxicated; I like the last two lines of the first poem.
